I'm Ava — a New York-based home cook who turned a personal shift toward plant-based living into a full creative practice. What started as cooking for myself slowly became cooking for friends, then writing recipes, then building a small community of people who wanted the same thing I did: vegan food that actually tastes like dinner, not like a substitute.

Every recipe on VeganCommunity is one I've cooked in my own kitchen, retested, and refined until I'd happily serve it to someone who's never eaten vegan before. I focus on whole foods, bold seasoning, and simple techniques — because I genuinely believe that's where the best plant-based cooking lives.

Why I built VeganCommunity
